About Me

Throughout my career I have cultivated skills which enable me to explore both your past and your present in order to help you make the necessary changes that lead to a more satisfying and well-adjusted life.

The love I have for my work motivated me to seek out many years of education in the field of both business and psychology. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at USC in Business Administration (1985) with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship.  After spending 10 years in the business world, I went back to school to pursue my passion and dream receiving my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology in La Mirada (2001). After earning my doctorate, I completed my training at The Center for Individual and Family Therapy (CIFT) in Mission Viejo, becoming a licensed psychologist in 2002. For the past 23 years I have been a consultant at Mariners Church. I have been married for 30 years and am the father of two wonderful young men.  Currently, I have a private practice in Newport Beach, California.

I welcome your inquiries. Usually, contacting me on the phone and then setting up an initial appointment for an in-person consultation is best. We can meet and discuss your concerns, and you can determine whether you think working with me will be helpful. I look forward to hearing from you.
